The Spirit in Mind broadcast is a radio broadcast and podcast focusing on faith and mental health perspectives on current affairs. Moreover, we specifically have access to an underserved community that is the African American faith community, including African American pastors, whose influence in the community is quite substantial. Our broadcast offers the APA the opportunity to make this particular demographic aware of its presence, services, publications, and most importantly, their willingness and trustworthiness.

Otherwise stated, we are talking about a mutual exchange of endorsements. It is indeed true that their sponsorship helps us financially and otherwise. But it is also true that we will be endorsing them in a community that is historically suspect and/or uninformed, under-informed, or misinformed about mental health services.
